Angela Bianchi Illustrations

Hello there! I'm Angela, a Maltese illustrator who loves cats, books and a great conversation over a cup of tea. For as long as I can remember, if I had a pen or pencil in my hand, a doodle would soon appear.

In 2018, I attended a short summer course on Illustration at UAL while living in London which marked the beginning of my journey as an illustrator. It was the first time I truly felt that I could call myself an artist.

Since then, I have returned to Malta and have continued to grow and develop my skills as an artist using both traditional and digital media for my illustrations.

Currently, I enjoy illustrating group and family portraits and working on various personal projects. Take a look at a selection of my artwork below.

And for anyone who is wondering why my email is "alowa b ...", well... it actually started many years ago with my eldest nephew mispronouncing my first name! And the "b" is clearly the first letter of my surname. There we go... Mystery solved!
